Automotive parts

We are Tier 2 automotive manufacturers. We have more than 10 years of experience in our processes.

In 2014 we were certified in ISO 9001:2008. We are working to be certified in ISO/TS 16949. BSI is the certifying organization we work with.

In 2015 we began preparing ourselves for VDA 6.3. We work with a VDA expert audit instructor who coaches us.

For three years (2012-2015) we collaborated with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in the project “Development of the automotive supply chain in Mexico”. Through this time, 5´s were implemented, PPMs were reduced and tooling changing time was improved.

Our injection molding machines range from 55 ton to 480 ton. However we will continue acquiring more machines to meet market needs.

Our automotive products vary depending vehicle brand and model. We manufacture, mainly, appearance parts for indoor use.

Medical parts

We manufacture disposable medium size vaginal speculum. The Register of Health number of our product is 0661E2005 SSA.

The design and brand of the disposable vaginal speculum are by Temaplax, it fulfills 100% the Mexican standard NMX-BB-096-SCFI-2001 "Materials for medical use. Disposable vaginal speculum specifications and test methods ".

Our facilities include clean room for the manufacture of medical products. The clean room has controlled temperature, humidity and pressure; it also follows specific sanitation procedures. We have the Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices granted by COFEPRIS (Federal Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks).

We are working to develop and manufacture more medical products that meet our customer´s needs.

Development of new projects

Since our foundation we have developed, manufactured, and commercialized medical and automotive products. We are working to enter new sectors such as Food Industry, Cosmetology Industry, among others.

It is exciting for us being part of a new project, since the product development until its commercialization. We welcome proposals for products that generate added value. We offer the expertise that medical and automotive industries have given us in order to create innovative products.

At Temaplax we are committed to our customers. For the automotive parts manufacture we were certified on ISO 9001:2008 in 2014, we are working to be certified on ISO/TS 16949 next 2017. For the medical manufacture we have the certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices granted by COFEPRIS (Federal Committee for Protection against Sanitary Risks), as well as the Register of Health of disposable vaginal speculum number 0661E2005 SSA.

History

We are a plastic injection molding company located in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. We manufacture plastic parts for medical and automotive sectors (Tier 2).

In December 2003 we started business producing disposable vaginal speculum (plastic clips for vaginal inspections). The design of this product was developed by ourselves, the brand was registered.

A clean room was built in order to manufacture this medical device. It complies with COFEPRIS (Federal Commission for Protection Against Sanitary Risks) standars, we were granted the Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice and the speculum Health Registration number.

In 2012 we started working for the Automotive Sector as Tier 2, manufacturing several plastic parts for Nissan and Mazda vehicle doors.

In 2014 we were certified on ISO 9001:2008 by the certifying organization BSI. That same year the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification gave us the Distinctive Brand Gto. Today we are working to be certified on ISO/TS 16949.

In 2015 we became a founding member, among other 12 local companies, of the CLAUGTO´s (Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato A.C.) Suppliers Development Committee. Since then we participate actively as partners. At CLAUGTO we receive training, support, feedback, news, etc. about automotive concerns.

As a result of all our employees hard work, we are consolidating as specialists in plastic parts with high quality standards and specialized production processes, providing our customers added value parts.
